Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and support services to students to improve academic, social, and emotional outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to assist in evaluating student progress and adjusting intervention strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district policies and state regulations.
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Proven experience working within school settings, preferably in assessment and intervention.
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing and counseling techniques suitable for children and adolescents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage workload efficiently during a contract assignment covering maternity leave.
