School Psychologist in Chicago, IL

A Chicago-based elementary school is seeking a qualified professional to serve in the role of School Psychologist on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). This is an opportunity to support the social, emotional, and educational needs of elementary-aged students within a dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' learning and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and interventions to support students mental health and academic progress.
• Assist in crisis intervention and develop strategies to promote a positive school climate.

Qualifications And Experience

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure as required by the state.
• Experience working within elementary school settings is preferred.
