Qualifications & Experience
- Possess an active DOE-certified School Psychologist license
- Demonstrated experience as a School Psychologist within educational settings
- Comfortable working with varying caseloads and school assignments
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Willing and able to complete district fingerprinting requirements prior to start
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment
- Conduct psychological assessments for referred students
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with special education eligibility determinations
- Consult with staff on academic and behavioral supports
- Deliver crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed
- Help educate staff and families on learning differences and mental health topics
- Support positive student behavior and social-emotional development
- Document services and maintain student records in accordance with district policies
