Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert recommendations
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting plans to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal regulations regarding special education and student services
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license appropriate for the state or willingness to obtain one
- Experience working within a K-12 educational environment
- Strong knowledge of psychological evaluation tools and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
