School Psychologist - Ellicott City, MD

A contract opportunity is available in Ellicott City, MD for a School Psychologist specializing in evaluations within an elementary school setting. This role focuses exclusively on conducting evaluations as part of the Child Find Program for children aged 3 to 5 years old.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations for children ages 3-5 as part of the Child Find Program.
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to assess and identify developmental and learning needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all evaluations.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss evaluation results and recommendations.
• Adhere to all district policies and state licensing requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Maryland School Psychologist License.
• Experience conducting psychological evaluations with young children (ages 3-5).
• Strong understanding of developmental assessment tools and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and effectively communicate findings.
• Availability to work approximately 3 days per week from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Contract Details

• Immediate start with assignment ending June 9th.
