School Psychologist - Boulder, CO

A school district in Boulder, CO is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support an elementary school on a contract basis for a leave replacement. This role provides a valuable opportunity to contribute to student success through psychological assessments, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify students strengths and needs
• Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual students
• Provide counseling services to support social-emotional development
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote positive student outcomes
• Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and provide expertise on student accommodations
• Maintain accurate records and comply with ethical and legal standards governing school psychology
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid School Psychologist credential/certification for the state of Colorado
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in an educational setting
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools, counseling techniques, and special education laws
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
