A K-12 school in Troy, NY is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a contract position spanning the current school year (CSY). Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
• Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic or behavioral challenges
• Assist with crisis intervention and behavior management strategies
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to guide educational planning and decision-making

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid School Psychologist certification or license applicable to New York State
• Experience working with K-12 student populations
• Strong understanding of assessment tools and evidence-based intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
