School Psych - Troy, New York

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Troy, NY is seeking a full-time School Psychologist to provide support for students from kindergarten through 12th grade for the remainder of the current school year. This contracted position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the academic and emotional well-being of a diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students cognitive, social, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student mental health and behavior.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure compliance with special education regulations.
• Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as necessary.
