Qualifications And Preferred Experience
- Valid School Psychologist certification and relevant licensure
- Experience in therapeutic or special education settings, especially at the high school level
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Familiarity with IEPs, behavior plans, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and rapport-building abilities with students, staff, and families
- Provide support to students participating in the high school ESY therapeutic program, from June 1st to June 30th
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop and monitor individualized plans
- Deliver crisis intervention when needed and assist with behavioral assessments
- Participate in meetings to discuss strategies and progress for students
- Document services and maintain compliance with educational and legal standards
