A leave contract opportunity is available for a skilled professional to serve as a School Psychologist at an early childhood school in Oxon Hill, MD. This role involves approximately 24 hours per week supporting the Preschool Child Find team with evaluations and assessments throughout the county. The assignment is expected to run from March through July 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and observations of preschool students in alignment with county Child Find initiatives.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess developmental and educational needs.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation based on evaluation findings.
• Participate in meetings to discuss student progress and support plans, often conducted remotely to accommodate flexibility.
• Maintain clear communication with families, educators, and other stakeholders.
• Adapt work schedule and practices to meet the needs of the leave coverage period.
