A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist located in Berkeley, CA. This role focuses on providing psychological services within an educational setting, supporting students academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop appropriate intervention strategies and support plans
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of evaluations and services provided
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid School Psychologist credential or certification relevant to California schools
• Experience conducting psychological assessments and working with diverse student populations
• Strong knowledge of child development and special education laws
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
