Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop appropriate intervention strategies and support plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of evaluations and services provided
- Valid School Psychologist credential or certification relevant to California schools
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and working with diverse student populations
- Strong knowledge of child development and special education laws
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to conduct interviews and assessments in a culturally sensitive manner
