This position offers a three-day-per-week schedule, running from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm, and covers the ESY session from July 6, 2026, through August 7, 2026. You’ll work closely with students, parents, and school staff to facilitate growth and improved mobility for children who benefit from additional support over the summer months.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Physical Therapist licensure in Massachusetts.
- Experience working as a PT in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred.
- Understanding of IEP process and ability to document therapy sessions effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Empathy and enthusiasm for working with children in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers to develop and implement effective interventions.
- Assess student progress and adapt treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and outcomes.
- Participate in meetings, consultations, and planning sessions as required during the ESY program.
