A full-time, school-based contract opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist in Waukegan, IL, for the 2024/2025 school year. This role involves providing therapy services to support students development and enhance their ability to participate in educational activities and daily school tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to student needs within the school environment
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Promote student independence and engagement during school activities
• Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to a positive educational atmosphere
  
  

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current Illinois Occupational Therapy license
• Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
