Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized occupational therapy plans tailored to students educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress
- Implement therapeutic interventions that enhance students participation in classroom and school activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
- Familiarity with K-12 educational environments and student populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff and families
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
- Commitment to promoting student independence and success within the school setting
