A K-12 school in Central Falls, Rhode Island, is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to support the academic, social, and emotional development of its diverse student body. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and interpreting findings to inform student learning and behavior interventions
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and effective support strategies
• Providing counseling and crisis intervention services to address student needs in a timely manner
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing professional insights to guide decision-making
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting support plans as necessary to promote success
• Maintaining detailed records and preparing reports on assessments and interventions

Qualifications and experience:

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Proven experience working with K-12 students in a school environment
• Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and data interpretation techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Sensitivity to diverse student needs, including those related to special education

This position is based in Central Falls, RI, and offers a contract term through the current school year. Compensation ranges from $40.83 to $60.83 per hour, with benefits that may include healthcare, housing, and meals or incidentals.
