You will provide essential services at one school site, focusing on a manageable caseload of 45 students.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active UT Professional License as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy is desirable
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and families
- Ability to assess and address a range of fine motor, sensory, and functional needs among students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse student population within the school setting
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student’s abilities and needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to promote students’ educational access and success
- Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Provide guidance on adaptive equipment and classroom modifications to enhance learning environments
