Assignment Details
- Location: Santa Clara, CA
- Contract length: 9 weeks for the short-term position; potential extension through the 2026/2027 school year for the longer-term role
- Start date: Late January for short-term; ASAP for extended assignment
- Serving multiple schools: Short-term role covers 4 sites (2 Pre-K/Elementary, 2 Middle Schools); extended role covers 3 sites (1 Elementary, 1 K-8, 1 High School)
- Full-time, on-site work
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students with varied needs across multiple school levels
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development and educational goals
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions in line with school policies and regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Adapt therapy techniques to the diverse settings, supporting early childhood through high school populations
- Valid Occupational Therapy license with state approval to practice in California
- Previous experience working within school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads across several school sites efficiently
- Commitment to on-site presence and flexible for the scope of assigned schools
