School Occupational Therapist | San Mateo, California

A short-term Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available from approximately February 2nd through April 10th, covering a full-time schedule. This opportunity is in a school setting located in San Mateo, CA, with the contract aligning through the spring break period from April 6th to April 10th.

Qualifications And Experience

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
• Experience or familiarity with home health, healthcare, and teletherapy OT services is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to school-aged children
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time OT services within the school, supporting students developmental and educational goals
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
• Develop and carry out intervention plans in collaboration with educators and other professionals
• Document progress and maintain compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall student support process
