Qualifications & Experience
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong background in school-based OT services
- Knowledge of therapeutic approaches for children and adolescents
- Experience with assessments, therapeutic plans, and implementation within a school environment
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address sensory, motor, and adaptive skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide holistic support for student needs
- Monitor, record, and communicate progress to all relevant stakeholders
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Offer consultative advice and hands-on interventions in classroom and one-on-one settings
- Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation in compliance with school policies
