School Occupational Therapist - Indio, California

An experienced Occupational Therapist is needed for a full-time contract position within a school setting, located in Indio, CA, serving the Coachella area. This role requires providing comprehensive OT services across school, home health, and healthcare settings to support student development and well-being. The position is full-time at 40 hours per week, starting ASAP and continuing through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, including Extended School Year (ESY) services.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students in educational and home health environments.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational goals.
• Support students with various physical, sensory, and cognitive needs to enhance their functional abilities in school and home settings.
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure and credentials appropriate for California.
• Experience working with school-aged children in school and home health settings.
