School Occupational Therapist - Hayward, California

A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available to support students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in a K-12 school located in Hayward, CA. This contract role offers an opportunity to work with a diverse student caseload throughout the school year, providing essential therapeutic services to enhance students educational experience.

Responsibilities Include

• Delivering occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Providing direct therapy services tailored to student needs across various grade levels
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the multidisciplinary approach for student success
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
  
  

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with the ability to serve a K-12 school caseload
• Experience working in educational settings preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with school staff and families
