Desired Skills And Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapy license in California is required
- Experience providing OT services in schools or pediatric clinics strongly preferred
- Understanding of school-based therapy protocols and IEP documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with students, faculty, and families
- Proven ability to tailor interventions to pediatric and school-aged children
- Strong organizational skills with attention to compliance and reporting
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students (ages 6-12) in a clinic dedicated to pediatric care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students' academic and functional needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development when needed
