School Occupational Therapist | Derry, New Hampshire

A part-time Occupational Therapist is needed to provide specialized support to students in a school setting located in Derry, NH. This contract role begins immediately and extends through the end of the current school year. The position offers approximately 21 hours per week, ideally scheduled from Tuesday through Thursday, supporting students across a wide age range including PreK and high school.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of students in both early childhood and adolescent age groups.
• Implement therapy interventions to improve students sensory processing, fine motor skills, and adaptive functioning within the school environment.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school-based professionals to integrate occupational therapy goals into the students academic and social activities.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans accordingly to maximize developmental outcomes.
• Engage in regular meetings and communicate effectively with the school team to ensure comprehensive student support.
