Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1 years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience working as a school counselor or mental health assistant

• Understanding of school-based mental health support systems
• Ability to manage confidential information appropriately

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct counseling services to individual students and small groups
• Identify students in need and implement strategies for support and intervention
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to deliver a coordinated approach to student wellbeing
• Support and participate in school crisis response teams as needed
• Offer classroom trainings and workshops to promote mental health awareness and wellness
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of student interactions and progress
