Position Details
- Full-time, contract position
- 30-35 hours per week, 4 days per week
- Monday–Friday schedule
- July 27, 2026 – May 26, 2027
- Caseload is around 41 students, ages 3-18
What You'll Do
- Provide occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising OT
- Support students in developing fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-care, handwriting, and school participation skills
- Participate in team meetings and communicate student progress with the supervising OT
Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active Mississippi COTA license
- National certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) required
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
