A school-based contract position is available for a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support a high school student on a 1:1 basis in Cranston, RI. This role requires a current RBT license and offers a consistent schedule from 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM, Monday through Friday, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) license
- Experience working with students in a school environment preferred
- Ability to deliver one-on-one behavioral support effectively and compassionately
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized behavioral interventions to a high school student
- Implement behavior plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Track and document student progress in accordance with established protocols
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and administrators to support student needs
