School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Rosamond, California

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in the lives of students by working with a diverse TK-12 district serving approximately 3,650 students. This contract opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to provide onsite support in a vibrant educational environment near Rosamond, CA. You’ll collaborate with dedicated professionals at two campuses, ensuring students receive the speech services they need throughout the academic year.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Experience in school settings preferred, serving a range of needs from General Education to Moderate/Severe
• Comfortable working with students in elementary (TK–5th) and high school (9th–12th) grade levels
• Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to a varied caseload, with up to 60 students
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans aligning with IEP goals
• Work closely with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student success
• Maintain precise documentation, progress reports, and compliance with district and regulatory standards
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for children of all abilities
