What You’ll Need
- Current and active Delaware SLP license
- Proven experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a school environment
- American Sign Language (ASL) skills are desirable, though not required
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt strategies for individual student needs
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students as identified in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to create strategies supporting student progress
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation for all services and evaluations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student development
