Qualifications And Desired Experience
- Current certification as an SLP-CCC is required
- Experience working directly with elementary school-aged children is preferred
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and IEP processes within a school setting
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and families
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop individualized therapy plans and goals in accordance with IEPs
- Provide direct intervention in both individual and group settings
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and communicate student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies into the classroom
- Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, sessions, and progress
- Consistent, manageable hours: full time, Monday through Friday, 6:45 am to 12:15 pm
