Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time, contract role offers an exciting opportunity for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential speech therapy services in a school setting from August 12 to November 2. With a 37.5-hour workweek, candidates will support elementary and preschool students by addressing their communication needs. Two Leave Replacement positions are available; one position has a preference for bilingual candidates to better serve diverse student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to elementary and preschool students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans aligned with students educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensure as an SLP in the relevant state
- Experience in school-based speech therapy preferred
- Bilingual skills preferred for one of the positions to enhance communication with diverse children and families
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
