An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with credentials including SLP, SLP - CFY, or SLP - CCC, to provide essential therapy services within a school setting in Elizabeth, NJ. This contract position is full time, offering 37.5 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and extending through the end of the school year.
Responsibilities for this role include managing a caseload of approximately 30 students within the PreK and Middle School (6th-8th grade) age groups. The position allows flexibility to focus either on PreK or Middle School students, with the understanding that compensatory services must be completed as part of the therapy schedule to ensure all student needs are addressed effectively. You will develop and implement individualized therapy plans, work collaboratively with educational staff and families, and document progress in accordance with school policies.
