Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with an active Illinois license and Professional Educator License (PEL) to provide in-person support for K-8 students in a special education co-op setting. This role offers the opportunity to work with students who have social/emotional disabilities while supporting their communication development in a collaborative school environment.Location: Bolingbrook, ILContract Duration: ASAP through June 2, 2026Schedule: 35 hours per week, in-person onlyGrades Served: Kindergarten through 8th gradeKey Responsibilities:Provide speech-language pathology services to approximately 30 fully verbal, independent students with social/emotional disabilities.Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with services typically totaling 120 minutes per month (about 30 minutes per week).Collaborate with special education staff and related service providers to support student goals.Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.Participate in team meetings and contribute to student-centered planning and problem-solving.Qualifications:Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).Active Illinois professional license and Professional Educator License (PEL).Experience working with K-8 students, preferably within special education or social/emotional disability settings.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to deliver services effectively through direct, in-person interaction.This position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students requiring specialized speech-language services in an educational setting.
