Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- NC SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience with elementary student populations highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students in a supportive school setting
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, and parents to ensure student progress
- Document student performance and maintain compliant records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success strategies
- Provide both direct and indirect speech services, fully supported through guaranteed contracted hours
- No bus duty, lunch monitoring, or non-therapy district tasks required
