School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Avondale, Arizona

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, onsite contract assignment offers you the opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school setting near Avondale, AZ. You’ll join dedicated professionals committed to helping young learners reach their communication goals through direct intervention, evaluations, and consultative services.

Key Qualifications

• Active state SLP license
• SLP Educator Certificate required
• Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (must be included with submissions)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience in school-based settings and with preschool-aged children is strongly valued
• Ability to manage a varied caseload (from 30–60, dependent on split of evaluation/therapy responsibilities)
• Excellent communication, organization, and team collaboration skills
  
  

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy to assigned caseload of preschool and Child Find students
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations, with an emphasis on best practices for early childhood assessment
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain thorough documentation, progress monitoring, and timely reporting in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to transition planning
• Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that promotes language and social development
