School-Based Social Worker - Rochester, Michigan

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Social Worker position is available in a school setting located in Rochester, MI. This contract role provides an excellent opportunity for a licensed social worker to support K-12 general education students and make a meaningful impact on their academic and social development. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, offering stability and the chance to contribute to a school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 25-30 K-12 general education students, providing direct social work services.
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with school staff and families.
• Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs to promote academic success.
• Provide crisis intervention and connect students and families to community resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records aligned with state and district guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Fully licensed Michigan Social Worker with School Social Worker (SSW) credential.
• Experience working with K-12 students in an educational environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model, with 3 days onsite and flexibility for remote work.

Schedule & Location:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
• Hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite in Rochester, MI.
