School-Based Social Worker - Edison, New Jersey

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school social worker position is open at a high school in Edison, NJ, under a contract term starting ASAP through June 20, 2026. This role involves providing social work services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with most of the caseload being high school students.

Responsibilities:

• Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to promote student well-being
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans
• Maintain documentation and comply with school district policies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey social worker license
• Must hold a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential
• Experience working in school settings is required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively in a single school setting

Location: Edison, NJ (Columbia High School)

Schedule: Full-time, 37 hours per week
