A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services within a K-12 school setting in Springfield, OR. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and involves delivering specialized care to pediatric students requiring speech and language support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of students exhibiting speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
• Provide direct therapy sessions focused on improving speech and language skills
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including educators and healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care
• Engage with families to educate and involve them in the therapeutic process
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Oregon
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
• Ability to function independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Must have an active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in Oregon
