Key Qualities And Experience
- Current and active CDE (Colorado Department of Education) license required before starting
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or eligible Clinical Fellow candidates welcome
- Experience working in school settings favored, though strong candidates from other backgrounds also considered
- Bilingual Spanish skills required to effectively serve a diverse population
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites (itinerant role)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Collaborative spirit for working with students, educators, and families
- Assessing students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct therapy services, both one-on-one and in group settings
