School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Puyallup, Washington

A School Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available in Puyallup, WA, providing essential health services within educational settings. This contract position spans the current school year and offers the chance to work closely with students in both preschool and high school environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a preschool health room on Mondays and Wednesdays
• Deliver one-on-one nursing support at a high school on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
• Monitor student health, administer medications, and respond to emergencies promptly
• Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with district and state regulations
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Active Registered Nurse license valid in Washington State is required
• Previous experience in a school nursing role preferred
• Prior experience providing 1:1 nursing care highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educators
• Familiarity with school health policies and protocols
