Responsibilities Include
- Providing direct nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and emergency response
- Developing and implementing individualized health plans for students with chronic health conditions
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborating with school staff, families, and healthcare professionals to promote a healthy school environment
- Maintaining accurate health records and ensuring compliance with state and local health regulations
- Conducting health screenings and participating in health education initiatives
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare preferred
- Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
