Qualifications & Experience
- Current, active Physical Therapist license in South Carolina (SC PT License required)
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings, ideally in itinerant or multi-site roles
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy interventions for pediatric/young populations
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage a varied caseload across multiple campuses
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
- Passion for supporting children with diverse physical needs in school environments
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students from kindergarten through high school
- Travel to multiple school sites according to a weekly schedule
- Carry out thorough evaluations, write evidence-based treatment plans, and document progress according to school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other service providers to integrate therapy into each student’s educational plan
- Provide training, consultation, and support to school staff, ensuring continuity of care
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
