Enjoy a consistent, part-time schedule of approximately three days per week, providing essential therapeutic services to help students achieve their mobility and physical development goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Previous experience in school-based settings or pediatric populations preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educational teams, students, and families
- Ability to implement and document individualized plans of care
- Flexibility and adaptability within a school environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and school staff to integrate therapy into the educational setting
- Conduct student assessments and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and student progress
- Offer guidance to staff and families on strategies to enhance students' physical abilities
- Support a welcoming and inclusive school culture
