Qualifications And Experience
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (required)
- Active COTA license for the state of Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, comfortable working with remote supervision
- Familiarity with IEP processes and implementation
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to high school students individually and in small groups
- Collect and document data on student progress and communicate findings to the virtual supervising OT
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Assist in adapting classroom materials and activities to meet students’ needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district standards
