- Typically 10-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Occasionally 11-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- 12-hour shifts may be from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Bi-weekly hours: 69
- Foster a collaborative relationship with the store operations team and engage pharmacy associates in departmental and company strategies.
- Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance with adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations.
- Manage pharmacy operations to achieve profitable growth, including clinical program implementation like immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Oversee inventory control by tracking sales and managing pharmaceutical stock.
- Align team objectives with key performance metrics to ensure department effectiveness.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing medical inquiries and resolving concerns.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff; provide training, coaching, and performance management.
- Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and use professional references to resolve prescription issues.
- Prioritize and complete essential pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-call processing.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
- Proven leadership experience in retail pharmacy management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
