Responsibilities
- Dispense and manage rare and orphan specialty medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support patients and healthcare providers through the approval process for specialty drugs.
- Assist patients with navigating payment options, including grants, rebates, and assistance programs.
- Maintain clear, high-level communication with patients and providers to optimize therapy outcomes.
- Utilize McKesson Enterprise (ERx) system to manage pharmacy operations.
- Proven experience working specifically in a designated specialty pharmacy setting (retail specialty or specialty mail order).
- Familiarity with rare and orphan drug therapies and associated patient management.
- Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills to support a high-touch patient experience.
- Active, clear, and good standing Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona.
- Updated resume detailing specialty pharmacy experience, including specific disease states handled.
- One specialty pharmacy reference.
- Copy of current Arizona Pharmacy Technician license.
