Remote School Psychologist | North Carolina

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide telehealth services supporting special education needs. This part-time role offers 20-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a contract extending until June 5, 2026.

Location: Remote (serving the Spruce Pine, NC area)

Responsibilities Include

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess educational needs, learning styles, and program requirements of referred students
• Collaborating with educators and instructional staff to develop appropriate intervention plans and programs for students with disabilities
• Providing diagnostic information to inform instructional strategies and support services
• Maintaining accurate records and communication related to assessments and services
• Adhering to state regulations and professional standards in the delivery of psychological services
  
  

Qualifications

• Licensed School Psychologist in the state of North Carolina is required
• Masters degree in School Psychology or a closely related field preferred
• Experience in telehealth service delivery is highly desirable
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills with knowledge of special education processes
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with school personnel and families
