The role centers on evaluations, eligibility determinations, and collaboration with educational teams to support student needs and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
Prepare compliant evaluation reports and eligibility documentation
Participate in virtual IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers
Support data collection, progress monitoring, and special education compliance timelines
Maintain accurate student records in accordance with district expectations
Requirements
Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
Active Louisiana School Psychologist certification/license
School-based Experience Preferred
Strong understanding of evaluations, eligibility procedures, and special education compliance
Experience providing services in a virtual or remote setting preferred
Teaching certification may be required depending on district.
