Key Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory therapy services to pediatric and adult patients in a Level I trauma center
- Perform respiratory assessments, ventilator management, and airway care in the PICU and Pediatric ED
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in teaching and training initiatives within a teaching hospital environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with a valid Rhode Island license
- Pediatric respiratory therapy experience, especially in Pediatric ED and PICU settings
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications strongly preferred
- Experience working in ICU and Level I trauma centers is highly desirable
- Ability to work night shifts on a 3x12 schedule (specific days to be discussed during the interview)
- Dress code: Scrubs (any color)
- Parking: No fee; night shift parking available in main lot without shuttle; day shift parking at nearby garage with shuttle service
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
