Registered Respiratory Therapist in Golden, CO

Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2 years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours

Key Qualifications

• Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Demonstrated competency in respiratory therapy techniques and protocols
• Solid clinical judgment and effective critical thinking abilities
• Valid license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interactions
• Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based practice
  
  

Primary Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments, therapies, and procedures as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient responses and adjust ventilator settings or treatments as necessary
• Assess and document patient progress, maintaining accurate records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to coordinate care
• Participate in patient education regarding respiratory care, medications, and equipment use
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, calibrated, and used according to protocols
• Contribute actively to code blue and rapid response teams as required
