Registered Nurse School Setting - San Bernardino, CA

A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available in the High Desert region of California, serving schools between Bakersfield and Tehachapi. This contract position offers an immediate start with the term extending through the end of the school year (EOSY), with potential for extended school year (ESY) work and a high likelihood of renewal.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and case management services to students within the school setting
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans in collaboration with school staff and families
• Monitor and manage student health conditions, including medication administration and emergency care
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student well-being and educational success
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California
• Experience in school nursing and case management preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites in the High Desert area, including Bakersfield and Tehachapi
• Capacity to handle a diverse caseload and adapt to varying healthcare needs
  
  

Location:This position is primarily based in Oro Grande, CA, with service coverage extending to schools between Bakersfield and Tehachapi in the High Desert region.

Work Schedule

• Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week
